Louise Molony is a producer on BBC Radio 2, producing The Sara Cox Show, Monday - Friday 5 - 7pm. She is also a vibrant broadcaster who previously presented Drivetime on Magic Chilled, Sunday's on Kerrang! Radio and Saturday's on Absolute Radio 90s.
Starting out her radio career at Radio Nova Dublin presenting the overnight show, she quickly ascended to the Saturday night show.
In January 2012, she moved to London to work for Bauer Media as a producer/presenter. Once she joined, she hit the ground running, producing shows across Bauer brands, including Magic and Planet Rock.
Most recently she has launched the brand new tea time show on BBC Radio 2 with Sara Cox, having previously produced Sara’s nighttime show on Radio 2 in 2018. In that time she also produced Ana Matronic, David Tennant & Will Young. Louise worked as a senior producer for Magic Radio where she produced their celebrity shows including Mel Giedroyc, Kim Wilde & Rick Astley. She has also produced one off specials with Matthew Perry, Take That & Martin Kemp, amongst many others.
As part of her broadcasting career, Louise has interviewed some of the biggest names in music including Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, Foo Fighters, Sam Smith, Mary J Blige and John Legend.
